Insurance
We accept most insurance plans such as Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, CT Care, Oxford, United Health, Aetna, Health West, Guardian, and Cigna. Contact us if you have an unusual insurance plan. Sorry, we are not currently participating in the Husky Plan.
Hospitalization
Should your child require hospitalization, Dr. Freedman encourages admission to Connecticut Children's Medical Center. For newborns, Dr. Freedman has admitting privileges at Hartford Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.
Urgent Care/Emergencies
If your child has an urgent medical problem, please call our office at (860) 648-2447. During evening, weekend, holiday, or any other time our office is closed, Dr. Freedman, or another pediatrician, will be available to you. If our office is closed your call is received by the answering service. Within a short time, the physician on-call will get back to you.

Children with medical emergency problems will be referred to Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Children with urgent medical problems can be seen on weekend mornings by Dr. Freedman or the covering physician.
